(Tah) – Artist, Healer, Cultural Contributor

Born in Olongapo City, Philippines - raised between jungle and city life, then moving across continents as a military child, Tahrook also known as Tah — is a multidimensional creative whose work bridges spirituality & urban culture. Now based in Washington, DC, Tah is best known for her sigilism tattoos: hand-drawn symbols imbued with deep personal meaning.

Her practice spans tattooing, painting, photography, and music curation. A former realist painter, Tah’s style has evolved into a more expressive, childlike language - a reflection of her personal healing journey and devotion to softness, truth, and transformation.

When not in the studio or gallery, Tah djs across the nightlife scene and documents city life and everyday people on film blending sound, image, and soul into every layer of her work.
